We are looking for curious, motivated, and talented individuals who are interested in joining a new lab focused on employing cutting-edge electrophysiological, computation, and behavioral techniques to answer questions about the neural basis of cognition and invent new methods to improve cognitive functions.
Undergraduates

Graduate Students
If you are a UC Davis graduate student looking for a lab, please email Xiaomo to set up a time to meet. If you are looking for a graduate position and you are not at UC Davis already, you will need to apply to the Neuroscience, Psychology, or Biomedical Engineering graduate program at UC Davis.
Postdoctoral Fellows
We welcome applications for postdoctoral fellows, particularly those interested in the neural circuit and dynamics of cognitive control. Given the breadth of techniques used in our lab, we welcome applicants with various backgrounds, including psychology, neuroscience, and biomedical engineering to apply. All interested applicants are encouraged to email Xiaomo a copy of your CV, a brief statement of your research interests, and the names of two individuals willing to provide you a strong recommendation.
