CC Lab's first independent research published
"In this work, we show that neurons in the frontal eye field (FEF) operate on distinct intrinsic timescales, linked to different roles in stimulus-driven attention. Short-timescale neurons were more strongly involved in transient visual processing, while long-timescale neurons showed stronger sustained salience representation. We also found that parietal inactivation causally slows these prefrontal timescales and selectively disrupts salience representation."
